Minutes of Meeting held at Metheringham Village Hall
09th May 2024 at 7pm
 
Present: Councillor Keith Parker (Chairman)
 
Item 1 Welcome.
 
The Chairman, Councillor Keith Parker opened the meeting and welcomed all Parishioners and Members in attendance
 
Item 2 To receive as a correct record the notes of the Annual Parish Meeting held on 17th May 2023
 
The minutes of the meeting were approved.
 
Item 3 Introduction of Parish Councillors
 
The Chairman, Councillor Keith Parker introduced all Council members and shared via a PowerPoint presentation pictures of all Parish Councillors who are Parish Council members along with individual employed by the council.
 
Item 4 To receive as report from the County Councillor – Councillor Rob Kendrick and a short Q&A session
 
Councillor Kendrick provided a verbal update to all present along with answering all questions raised
 
Item 5 To receive as report from District Councillors – Councillor Fran Pembery and Councillor Dave Parry and a short Q & A session 
                              A verbal update to all present along was provided by District Councillors present along with answering all questions raised.
 
Item 6 To receive as report from the Parish Council Chairman – Councillor Keith Parker on the Parish Council activities during 2022-2023 and key priorities for 2023-2024
 
The Chairman Councillor Keith provided a verbal update to all members of the public present and in attendance, accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation.
 
Item 7 To answer questions or consider any matters relating to Metheringham Parish Councils Annual Report
 
The Chairman, Councillor Keith Parker received questions from members of the public present, he answered all questions posed without having to ask the Clerk to provide further information.
 
Item 8 An opportunity for residents of Metheringham to raise matters relating to the village.
 
The Chairman, Councillor Keith Parker invited members of the public present to raise any concerns or questions they may have pertaining to the Village: many items were raised and answered in the evening without having to ask the Clerk to provide further information.
 
Item 9 Reports from village organisations.
 
The organizations made their reports and the Chairman, Councillor Keith Parker thanked all the village organisations and groups present for giving an enlightened overview of their activities.
