Exciting news for Prince's Street Play Park
Dear Parishioners
This is an informative relating to Prince’s Street Play Park. Early last September it was decided to close the Tree house multi play facility due to its failure to meet safety standards. Despite making every effort we are unable to rectify these defects economically; hence the Parish Council has decided to demolish it and replace it with a new ‘Castillo’ multi play facility (see below) which eclipses the existing facility in both size and modes of operation. This equipment will be funded from Section 106 Planning Obligation monies that have been gained from both the Quarry Close and Homestead Fields developments. We hope the new facilities will be open for use in the early summer. We also intend to improve the fall protection safety paving to all of the other apparatus on the Play Park. We will keep you informed of progress.
