July 2025 Notice of Special Motion
Metheringham Parish Council
NOTICE.
On the 29th July 2025 at the Full Council Meeting I Cllr Mark Worthington give notice that I will move a motion to re-address staffing requirements, conditions and associated issues in a Closed Session of the meeting in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 Sec 1 (2) 1960 and Section 12a of the Local Government 1972 Act of Parliament.
These motions (or similar ones) have been previously resolved by Full Council within the last six calendar months. I wish to raise them again due to a change in circumstances as per the Councils Standing Orders 7 (a) and 9 (b) included below.

7 (a) A resolution shall not be reversed within six months except either in exceptional circumstances or by a motion, which requires written notice by at least (1) councillor to be given to the Proper Officer in accordance with standing order 9 below, or by a motion moved in pursuance of the recommendation of a committee.
9 (b) No motion may be moved at a meeting unless it is on the agenda and the mover has given written notice of its wording to the Proper Officer at least (7) clear days before the meeting. Clear days do not include the day of the notice or the day of the meeting.
