Minutes of meeting of Metheringham Parish Council Finance Committee held in the Parish Council Office, High Street, Metheringham, LN4 3DZ on Wednesday 14th June at 7.30pm.

1. To elect a Chair of the Finance Committee
Proposed by S Peek and seconded by D Parry, M Westerman elected chair. All were in favour.
2. To resolve to accept Apologies for Absence and reasons given in accordance with Local Government Act 1972 S85(1)
Apologies received from R Grummitt. Proposed by S Peek and seconded by D Parry. All were in favour.
3. Members Declarations of Interests:
a. Members may make any declarations of interest at this point but may also make them at any point during the meeting in accordance with Metheringham Parish Councils Code of Conduct.
None received.
b. Dispensations: To consider and grant dispensation to relevant members in accordance with Metheringham Parish Councils Code of Conduct.
None
4. To note the approval of the minutes of the General Purposes and Finance Committee held on 17th January 23 are to be approved by the General Purposes Committee.
Noted.
5. To agree the recommended Terms of Reference for the committee
It was proposed to refer these to the full council. Proposed by D Parry and seconded by S Peek. All were in favour.
6. To review the Financial Regulations and resolve any recommended change to present to full council (as requested by the General Purposes Committee on 6th June 23).

7. To review the financial reports and accounts to date.
The council currently have four accounts and some are under used/not necessary. There are currently two business accounts and two treasurer accounts. It was proposed to review the number and types of account the council holds. Proposed by S Peek and seconded by D Parry. All were in favour.
