METHERINGHAM PARISH COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN and COUNCILLORS ARE SUMMONED to attend the Parish Council Meeting of Metheringham Parish Council to be held at 6.30pm on Wednesday 10th January 2024 at The Parish Office, High Street, Metheringham LN4 3DZ.
This is a public meeting which may be filmed, recorded, and published.

The public may address the council for a maximum of 15 minutes on current matters, or issues which may become future agenda items.

1. Chairs comments
2. To resolve to accept Apologies for Absence and reasons given in accordance with Local Government Act 1972 S85(1)
3. To receive members declarations of interest:
a. Members are required to declare any declarations of interest at this point and may also make them at any point during the meeting in accordance with Metheringham Parish Councils Code of Conduct
b. Dispensations: To consider and grant dispensation to relevant members in accordance with Metheringham Parish Councils Code of Conduct
4. To receive as a correct record the draft notes of the Parish Council Meeting held 29th November 2023 and the Staffing-Finance-Communications Committee held on 13th December 2023.
5. To consider and resolve an amendment and inclusion of Ex Officio within the Parish Councils Standing Orders/Terms of Reference.
6. Finance
a. To review and consider payment of accounts.
b. To consider and resolve the mileage rate to be claimed by employees of the parish council and whether this should be in line with HMRC approved mileage rates of 45p for Cars and Vans for the first 10,000 business miles in the tax year and 25p for each business mile over 10,000 in the tax year.
c. To consider and agree the budget and precept for the financial year 2024/2025.
