You are summoned to an Extra Ordinary Meeting of Metheringham Parish Council which will be held in the Parish Office, High Street, on Thursday 21st April 2022 at 18:30.  Prior to the start of the meeting there will be a public forum of not more than 15 minutes if required.  The public may address the council between 18:15 and 18:30 on current matters, or issues which may become future agenda items and your attendance is also requested during this period.

AGENDA 
21ST APRIL 2022
 
 
1. To accept Apologies for Absence and reasons given in accordance with Local Government Act 1972 s85(1). 
2. Members Declarations of Interests:
a. Members may make any declarations of interest at this point but may also make them at any point during the meeting in accordance with Metheringham Parish Councils Code of Conduct.  
b. Dispensations:  To consider and grant dispensation to relevant members in accordance with Metheringham Parish Councils Code of Conduct.    
3. Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Committee:  To consider and resolve additional funding of £3,000 for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations to enable provision of purchasing; first aid services, barrier hire, raffle tickets, raffle prizes, memorabilia gifts for the children of Metheringham primary School and any last minute incidental costs.
4. Bunting:  To consider and resolve the purchase of reusable Union Jack bunting up to a maximum value of £500, to be purchased using Community Infrastructure Levy funds. 
5. Metheringham Parish Council Flag:  To consider and resolve:
i) To purchase a flag with the Parish Council Crest and wording
ii) To purchase a flag pole and installation to be sited to the front of the office.
6. Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 Exclusion of the Press and the Public: To resolve that in accordance with Section 1(2) of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 and by reason of the confidential nature of the remainder of the business, the press and public be excluded.
7. Metheringham Village Hall: 
i) To discuss and resolve the format and wording of a response to the recently received communication from the secretary to the Village Hall Committee.
ii) To consider and resolve to seek legal advice to clarify the responsibilities of the Village Hall Committee, the Parish Council responsibilities to the Village Hall Committee and clarification of the next steps to update the 1965 Deed of Gift conditions.
