Notice of a meeting of Metheringham Parish Council Events Committee, which will be held in the Parish Council Office, High Street, Metheringham, LN4 3DZ on Thursday 8th June at 6.30pm. There will be a public forum at 6.15pm prior to the meeting where members for the public can make short statements to the committee.

2. To resolve to accept Apologies for Absence and reasons given in accordance with Local Government Act 1972 S85(1)

b. Dispensations: To consider and grant dispensation to relevant members in accordance with Metheringham Parish Councils Code of Conduct
4. To approve as a correct record, the minutes of the meeting held on 25th May 2023
5. To elect non-council members onto the Committee within the remit of the Terms of Reference
6. To review the spend against budget for the Events Committee so far and allocate budget for Fayre and Feast 23
7. To discuss maximum number of stalls for the Fayre and Feast and their locations
8. To discuss advertising for the Fayre and Feast and consider associated expenditure
9. To consider entertainment for the Fayre and Feast and consider associated expenditure
10. To consider competitions and prizes for the Fayre and Feast
11. To consider ways to improve community engagement and recruitment of more volunteers
12. To delegate responsibility of arranging road closures and marshals for the Fayre and Feast 23
