You are summoned to an Extraordinary meeting of Metheringham Parish Council Events Committee which will be held on Thursday 15th February 2024 at the Parish Council Offices, High Street, Metheringham, LN4 3DZ at 6.30pm.

AGENDA
1. Chair’s Remarks
2. To resolve to accept apologies for absence and reasons given in accordance with Local Government Act 1972 S85 (1)
3. Members declarations of interests:
a. Members may make any declarations of interest at this point but may also make them at any point during the meeting in accordance with Metheringham Parish Councils’ Code of Conduct
b. Dispensations: To consider and grant dispensation to relevant members in accordance with Metheringham Parish Councils’ Code of Conduct.
4. To approve as a correct record, the minutes of the meeting held on 9th November 2023.
5. To discuss and resolve to hold a Children’s Easter Trail on 31st March 2024 between 10am and 1pm and associated budget if agreed.
6. To discuss the requirements for holding a D-Day 80 Anniversary event along Fen Lane (approved at the Parish Council Meeting held on 31/01/24).
7. To discuss the requirements for the 6th June and the reading of the International Tribute alongside the lighting of the Beacon at 9.15pm (approved at the Parish Council Meeting held on 31/01/24).
8. To discuss and resolve to hold a Scarecrow Trial between 23rd and 30th August 2024.
9. To discuss and resolve the requirements to enable wool a crochet and knitted poppies to be made to form a display inside of the memorial garden for Remembrance and any associated budget.
10. To discuss and resolve requirements for Remembrance Sunday 10th November 2024.
11. To discuss and resolve requirements for the Lighting of Christmas tree event 2024 and the inclusion of a Brass Band.
12. To discuss 2023 Fayre and Feast and any lessons learned.
13. To discuss and resolve requirements for Fayre and Feast October 2024 (approved at the Parish Council Meeting held 29/11/24 and budget allocation of five thousand pounds).
