Minutes 04/2020 of Metheringham, Sots Hole & Tanvats Parish Council Meeting held on Tuesday 05th May 2020 via a Conference Call.
A Meeting of Metheringham, Sots Hole and Tanvats Parish Council was held on Tuesday 05th May 2020 via a Conference Call due to COVID 19 and not being able to meet in line with Government guidance on group gatherings and social distancing.

1. Citizens Advice Mid Lincolnshire: To consider a request for funding received from Citizens Advice Mid Lincolnshire; supporting clients within the Metheringham Ward. It was resolved to support the organisation to the sum of E500. Proposed by Councillor Wilson, seconded by Councillor Walker and all were in favour.
2. Grant Applications:
a, Metheringham Swimming Pool: To consider the grant application received from Metheringham Swimming Pool. Councillor Holmes had declared a personal interest in the agenda item as a Trustee of the Swimming Pool. It was resolved to defer the request to the next conference call pending further information. Proposed by Councillor Wilson, seconded by Councillor Grummitt and all were in favour.
b. Metheringham Bowls Club: To consider the grant application received from Metheringham Bowls Club. Councillor Walker had declared a personal interest in the agenda item as a member of the bowls club. It was resolved to defer the request to the next conference call pending further information. Proposed Councillor Wilson, seconded by Councillor Grummitt and all were in favour.
3. Office Move: To formulate an action plan for the office relocation pending the announcement from Government planned for Sunday 10th May. It was resolved to request that the clerk obtain quotations for a removal firm to complete the office move and formulate an action plan.
4. MISH Update: To receive an update on the MISH Group. Councillor Temple not being present on the call; there was no update. Councillor Wilson commented that the group were busy collection prescriptions and food shopping.
5. VE Day 75 Friday 8th May 2020: To receive an update. The planters in the War Memorial Garden had been planted in the colours of red, white & blue and a flower wreath ordered, Councillor Wilson to lay the wreath on Friday 8th May. Councillor Byatt is to raise the flag.
