Minutes 10/2020 of Metheringham, Sots Hole & Tanvats Parish Council Extraordinary Meeting held on Wednesday 12th August 2020 via a Conference Call.

An Extraordinary Meeting of Metheringham, Sots Hole and Tanvats Parish Council was held on Wednesday 12th August 2020 via a Conference Call due to COVID 19 and not being able to meet in line with Government guidance on group gatherings and social distancing.

No members of the public had contacted the Clerk to request connectivity.

1. To accept Apologies for Absence and reasons given in accordance with Local Government Act 1972 s85(1). Apologies for absence were received from Councillors Grummitt and Temple.

2. Members Declarations of Interests:

a. Members may make any declarations of interest at this point but may also make them at any point during the meeting in accordance with Metheringham Parish Councils Code of Conduct. There were no declarations of interest.

b. Dispensations: To consider and grant dispensation to relevant members in accordance with Metheringham Parish Councils Code of Conduct. There were no requests for dispensations.

3. Extension to the Car Park, Prince's Street: To dispose of the resolution made at the meeting 30th June 2020; agenda items 9b) i and 9b) iii, and to resolve to revise the car park extension to a maximum of 49 spaces that retains where possible or relocates where feasible the existing play equipment. It was resolved to dispose of the 50 space car park extension agreed at the meeting 30th June 2020 and proceed on the reduced number of spaces to a maximum of 49 that retains where possible or relocates where feasible the existing play equipment. Proposed by Councillor Byatt, seconded by Councillor Parry and all were in favour.

4. Role of the Architect: To consider and resolve the role of the Architect for the extension to the Car Park project. ' It was resolved to defer the agenda item to obtain quotations to act as a Tender Agent and consider an agent to act to tender works and clerk of works. Items to be included in the specification / scope of works to be sent to the Clerk by Wednesday 19th August. Proposed by Councillor Byatt, seconded by Councillor Rymer and all were in favour.

There being no further business the meeting closed at 18:25
