General Purposes Committee Meeting Minutes 29th September 2021
Minutes GPC04/2021 of the General Purposes Committee Meeting held on
Wednesday 29th September 2021 at 18:30.
Present: Councillors D Holmes, I Holmes, J Manu, K Parker and K Rymer.
Apologies: Councillor V Zambas
Officer: K Steels-Tallett (Parish Clerk)
No members of the public were present.
1. To resolve to accept Apologies for Absence and reasons given in accordance with Local Government Act 1972 S85(1). Apologies had been received from Councillor Zambas. It was resolved to accept the apologies, proposed by Councillor I Holmes, seconded by Councillor Parker and all were in favour.
2. Members Declarations of Interests:
a. Members may make any declarations of interest at this point but may also make them at any point during the meeting in accordance with Metheringham Parish Councils Code of Conduct. There were no declarations of interest.
b. Dispensations: To consider and grant dispensation to relevant members in accordance with Metheringham Parish Councils Code of Conduct. There were no requests for dispensations.
3. To approve as a correct record, the minutes of the meeting held on 14th September 2021. The notes of the meeting 14th September 2021 having been circulated prior to the meeting were taken as read and it was resolved to approve them as minutes of the meeting. Proposed by Councillor Rymer, seconded by Councillor I Holmes and all were in favour.
4. Committee Terms of Reference: To consider and resolve to present the draft Terms of Reference to full council for adoption. It was resolved to circulate the edited draft Terms of Reference to members of the committee and then to full Council for adoption. Proposed by Councillor D Holmes, seconded by Councillor I homes and all were in favour,
5. Date of next meeting. Thursday 04th November 2021 @ 18:30.
