General Purpose Committee Meeting Minutes 06th December 2021
Minutes GPC06/2021 of the General Purposes Committee Meeting held on
Monday 06th December 2021 at 18:30.
Present: Councillors D Holmes, I Holmes, J Manu, K Parker and K Rymer.
Apologies: None received.
Officer: K Steels-Tallett (Parish Clerk)
No members of the public were present.
1. To resolve to accept Apologies for Absence and reasons given in accordance with Local Government Act 1972 S85(1). No apologies had been received.
2. Members Declarations of Interests:
a. Members may make any declarations of interest at this point but may also make them at any point during the meeting in accordance with Metheringham Parish Councils Code of Conduct. There were no declarations of interest.
b. Dispensations: To consider and grant dispensation to relevant members in accordance with Metheringham Parish Councils Code of Conduct. There were no requests for dispensations.
3. To approve as a correct record, the minutes of the meeting held on 04th November 2021. The notes of the meeting 04th November 2021 having been circulated prior to the meeting were taken as read and it was resolved to approve them as minutes of the meeting. Proposed by Councillor I Holmes, seconded by Councillor Manu and all were in favour.
4. To finalise the review of Standing Orders and agree to present them at the Parish Council Meeting Tuesday 14th December for approval and adoption. It was resolved to accept the revision detailed; subject to confirmation from LALC on changing the document to gender neutral, and present to full council for adoption. Proposed by Councillor I Holmes, seconded by Councillor D Holmes and all were in favour.
